Okay, NEWS FLASH. Yes, I'm upset about the mistletoe thing, as everyone should be, but it's not because of the kissing. I'm going to assume whoever did this is merely stupid and not actively malicious, because ha ha, harmless funny joke... anywhere but here.

Your cute little joke is DANGEROUS.

Thing one, it's FREAKING COLD here. Someone could very easily get caught outside unawares, maybe they left their PDA in their other coat pocket, and then they FREEZE TO DEATH before anyone finds them.

More importantly, thing two- we don't have cuffs anymore and NOT EVERYONE HERE IS NICE. As evidenced by the recent probable kidnappings I'm sure you all have noticed. I don't know about you, but I don't appreciate being held immobile waiting for one of two hundred strangers to find me, any one of which could be an AXE MURDERER.

...So thanks a lot pal, way to think things through. I hope you come to your senses before someone gets hurt.

Ah, youth. See, that's what I think of those who try to talk as if they fully understand the spectrum of people we're around, especially when they don't realize they are dealing with veterans of this place.

You are doing nothing more than making your pronouncements known abut the Entropi, and eventually your words will reach the keepers. Now, I'm well aware the ideology of peasant folk to try to promote anarchy, I understand. Still, you won't accomplish much.

And as for your fear of capture during the mistletoe, it is unfounded. The villains in this place hardly need to rely on it. The overall relaxed feel of this place alone is a provocation of anarchy.

Don't patronize me.

...Are you highyou having? What pronouncements about the Entropi have I been making?

Listen, pal, I'm not saying they weren't dangerous before. I can fight off near anyone, but I'd prefer to be able to move.

But its so easy!

Yelling like this is a good way to get their attention, and I've been reading your journal entries. It is obvious how you feel about being here.

Being able to move and not being able to move is simply a boon. If they are good at what they do, they will catch you. The trick is not to allow them to think about doing such a thing again.

I really doubt the Entropi give a flying fuck about the mistletoe. And if they thought any of us are happy to be here, they wouldn't have put a wall around the place. ...Anyway, it's a moot point. Old news, irrelevant. After the Indigeo showed up in person to tell me off, I just assume I'm being watched. It doesn't matter. HEY GUESS WHAT, ENTROPI! I'M GOING TO ESCAPE FROM THIS PLACE! ...Oh no! My secret is revealed!

Right, because there's only "good" and "not good", there's no spectrum so there's no point in trying to get an edge. And make no mistake, anyone who tries anything funny with me won't live to regret it.

You really are amusing!

Still, mistletoe is the least of my worries when the Keepers are in such a close proximity. I'm one of those people that "waits and sees," if only to make sure something doesn't change at the last minute. After all, I've been in wars, and last minute changes are quite bothersome.

I'm not saying "good" in that good and bad definition, if that's what you mean. Leave that to the quarrelers in this place. I'm simply acknowledging that some of our kidnappers are better than others. For instance, take those that were kidnapped. If you were to pour through entries to try and guess how many were involved, how many would you say, and whom?

Your caution is admirable. But you won't get anywhere without taking a risk.

I'd prefer not to speculate. Leave that to the "hero" types.

I take risks when the time is right. Attempting something prematurely will result in failure.

I guess three, maybe four strong. Or not strong. The kidnapped may have been drugged.

Tell me something I don't know.

Very good, Sherlock. Do you have a point, or are you just showing off?

I don't aspire to fail, ever. There you go.

If you're going to use sarcasm as a way of showing ignorance, you're doing a wonderful job. Perhaps the reason you aren't making an impact is because you have to figure out how to fight THEM first. They are, after all, the first wrench in any attempted escape from Econtra.

Do you really think you're being successful in your group if people are being kidnapped, by random?

Hardly sounds like progression to me.

I think I'm being successful if I get out of here.

Well that's fairly obvious, isn't it? You're type seems to be made of charging ahead without much thought in what direction. What COULD I say?

From: [identity profile] lady-bounty.livejournal.com
I continue to be astounded by the assumptions you make about me. You don't know me. You don't know what type I am. You have no idea how I spend my time, whether charging ahead or thinking.

Wouldn't I gather that information with how you are speaking, not to menton by what I'm observing? I am not new at finding out infomation OR reading people: in fact, that's in my job description. Perhaps, before you come to your conclusions about me, you would like to know what I know?

Shoot. Read my fortune. Impress me.

From: [identity profile] lady-azula.livejournal.com
Reading people does not mean "read fortunes." I don't have any strange abilities like that. Even if I did, what interest would I have in impressing you? I'm the princess in my world, not to mention the better tactician in most senses of the word.

But if you want to know what I've observed, you can actually ask without any sarcastic pretense. I don't respond well to it. Several annoying persons liked to use it toward me with less than flattering results.

From: [identity profile] lady-bounty.livejournal.com
...Princess, huh? Figures.

If you're not interested in impressing me, Highness, then why all the posturing and showing off in practically every comment you've made in this conversation?

I'm not sure I can pull off asking without the sarcasm. If you want to tell me what you think you know about me, tell me. If you don't, then don't. I don't really care. I've had ample opportunity to interject and describe to you in detail why I'm actually hot shit, but I haven't. I don't know you, I don't really care what you think of me, and I see no reason to feel like I need to explain my actions to you. I have no interest in impressing you.

This conversation is beginning to bore. Do you have a good reason to be bothering me?

Date: 2009-01-02 07:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] lady-azula.livejournal.com
You really are impatient. Of course, given the circumstances, I suppose its understandable.

If you really want to know why this conversation happened, its because I wanted to know what your mettle is. I have heard people who have wanted to escape this place, and most of them have been either unsuccessful or inflated on themselves. I have been that once, but ignoring a long story, we;ll simply say I've changed. In any case, the reason I'm engaging you in thsi conversation is because I want information, and am willing to give information as well.

I've fought the Entropi, yes. Not won, because they are strong, and I believe they'll strike back again. Soon. I am preparing for it with training of course, but it is necessary to have help: however, I am not exactly very keen on this Alliance. I've seen a few of these spring up unsuccessfully. There has been attempt at order before, usually resulting in failure.

You resemble me a little, enough that I want to know what it is YOU have planed. I am not demanding this information, as that will get us nowhere. I just want to know.

From: [identity profile] lady-bounty.livejournal.com
...Well, damn, if you're going to be reasonable, I suppose I can do the same.

I'm not adverse to discussing my plans, but I won't do it over the PDA. Saying that I have plans is one thing... as I said before, they already know I want out, but I'll be damned if I'll make it easy for them to figure out how.
