...Then you accept~? What game are we playing, or shall I choose? And, seriously, what kind of jewels are we talking about?
((If Rouge tried to cheat, Faye would notice, and she'd already be cheating herself. You don't play a player. Faye has three decks of cards, all identical, already prepared to her satisfaction. In canon, Faye was a career gambler, and more importantly a career hustler, for several years. She knows every trick in the book for cheating people out of their money in every common gambling game. Her skill at gambling/cheating at gambling earned her a reputation as the reincarnation of Poker Alice (a famous outlaw of the early 1900's noted for her skill and luck at cards) and was such that a casino owner sought her out specifically and blackmailed her into working for him for the express purpose of getting a man to lose all his money. ...I'm not saying she can't be beaten, but she is exceptionally skilled in this area, in the way that Shadow is exceptionally skilled in beating the crap out of people.))
Let's stick to a traditional game of poker~ I've gathered quite the assortment since arriving here. You'll see when we play~
((This is like a refresher course on Bebop. :,D Faye would win and probably would remain uncaught if she cheated unless she messed up. Though, Rouge would initiate a bitch fight if she kept losing and claim Faye was cheating anyway, regardless of evidence.))
...All right then~! I'm in Ast-Okto, come on over~.
((...Sorry. ^_^;; I just didn't want to come off all "My character wins because I say so!" Lol, bitch fight totally expected... Faye would, of course, deny that she was cheating, call Rouge a sore loser, and tell Rouge she was free to leave if she wanted, and Faye would just keep the booze for herself. So then it's just, would Rouge quit the game, or would she stay in it to the end? ...I feel dumb doing all this projecting, but I need to know the results before I can continue with the Pharaun thread.
...Speaking of threads, do we want to do one? On the one hand, a) we've outlined most of what would happen, and b) how the hell would we rp a poker game?; on the other hand, Faye and Rouge snarking at each other is always lulzworthy.))
((Haha, she'd probably stay in and demand to look over the cards, be the one to deal, and then cut the deck repeatedly before each hand.
We could do a thread, if you want, and for the poker parts all we have to do is be vague since we already know who's going to win. I'd just need to know how badly Faye wins each hand, so I know how fast Rouge is going to get pissed off/suspicious at her 'bad luck.'))
((Lol, Faye would be perfectly happy to let her do all that, of course~. Okay, cool, then I'll continue the Pharaun thread with that in mind.
Sure, thread sounds fun. You wanna start it, or should I? And sure, I can do that... Faye would be subtle, though, she'd let Rouge win a lot of hands.))
